Hwy 169 restriping to occur later this week
Roadway reverting to original lane configuration
(Roseville, Minn.) – Motorists in the southwest Twin Cities Metropolitan Area may experience delays beginning May 12 as crews begin to restripe Hwy 169 between Scott County 18 and Pioneer Trail to its original lane configuration before floodwater forced the closure of Hwys 41 and 101.
Crews will remove the fog lines of both directions Hwy 169 beginning at 7 p.m. Thursday, May 12. Both directions of Hwy 169 will be reduced to a single lane through 5 a.m. Friday, May 13.
Weather permitting, northbound Hwy 169 will be reduced to a single lane at 7 p.m. Friday, May 13, and southbound Hwy 169 will be reduced to a single lane at 8 p.m. All lanes of both directions will reopen by 10 a.m. Saturday, May 14.
If crews are unable to complete the restriping by May 14 because of inclement weather, northbound Hwy 169 also would be reduced to a single lane from 7 p.m. May 14 to 11 a.m. May 15 while southbound Hwy 169 would be reduced to a single lane from 7 p.m. May 14 to 12 p.m. May 15.
