Month-long traffic restrictions begin Tuesday, April 12 on Snelling Avenue in St. Paul
Work is part of Central Corridor Light Rail Transit project
ROSEVILLE, Minn. – Motorists may encounter congestion and delays beginning Tuesday morning, April 12, as the northbound lanes of Snelling Avenue (Highway 51) close for more than a month between Sherburne Avenue and Spruce Tree Avenue in St. Paul.
Traffic on the two-block stretch of the roadway crossing University Avenue will be reduced to a single lane in each direction at 7 a.m. tomorrow on the southbound lanes of Snelling Avenue through Friday, May 20. The closures are needed as crews work on natural gas mains and other construction for the Central Corridor Light Rail Transit project.
