Hwy 41 in Chaska closing at 7 p.m. today due to high water

ROSEVILLE, Minn. – Mn/DOT and the Minnesota State Patrol will close both directions of Hwy 41 spanning the Minnesota River in Chaska at approximately 7 p.m. today due to high water.

Until further notice the roadway will be closed north of Hwy 169 in Chaska between approximately Dem Com Road and Flying Cloud Drive.

The suggested detour route is Hwy 169, I-494 and Hwy 212.

Hwy 101 at the Minnesota River closed at 9 a.m. March 23.

In order to accommodate greater traffic volume on Hwy 169 during the Hwy 41 and Hwy 101 closures Mn/DOT plans to create an enhanced detour on Hwy 169, with an additional lane between Scott County Road 18 in Shakopee and Pioneer Trail in Bloomington and traffic signal adjustments at Highwood Drive and I-494.

This Hwy 169 work may begin March 24 and be completed by March 26, weather permitting.

Details about the Hwy 169 enhanced detour route will be made available as soon as they are available.
