Hwy 101 to remain open through noon today for emergency vehicles
ROSEVILLE, Minn. – Mn/DOT and the Minnesota State Patrol will close both directions of Hwy 101 spanning the Minnesota River in Shakopee at 9 a.m. due to high water.
The roadway will remain open to emergency vehicles through approximately 12 noon today.
Until further notice Hwy 101 will be closed between Flying Cloud Drive and downtown Shakopee. The suggested detour route for southbound motorists is eastbound Hwy 212 to southbound I-494, to southbound Hwy 169 to Hwy 101. Northbound motorists can reverse the route.
Hwy 41 remains open at this time and may be used as a detour. However, Hwy 41 likely will close on Thursday, March 24. Information about a Hwy 41 closure will be issued as soon as a closure date and time is known.
