Viking Drive closure rescheduled for Feb. 28-March 2
Closure for this week rescheduled due to inclement weather
ROSEVILLE, Minn. – The closure of Viking Drive has been re-scheduled for Feb. 28 through March 2 due to inclement weather.
Viking Drive will close at 8 a.m. Monday, Feb. 28 and reopen by 8 p.m. Wednesday, March 2. Part of the Hwy 169/I-494 reconstruction, the closure is necessary as crews install a water main beneath the roadway.
Motorists should follow the posted detour routes:
- Eastbound Viking Drive: Viking Drive to northbound Golden Triangle Drive to eastbound 76th Street to southbound Washington Avenue
- Westbound Viking Drive: Viking Drive to northbound Washington Avenue to westbound 76th Street to southbound Golden Triangle Drive
