Viking Drive/West 78th Street to close Feb. 21-23
Part of Highway 169/Interstate 494 reconstruction
ROSEVILLE, Minn. – Motorists will encounter a detour when Viking Drive/West 78th Street closes between Golden Triangle Drive and Washington Avenue beginning at 8 a.m. Monday, Feb. 21. The closures are necessary as crews install a water main beneath the roadway.
Motorists should follow the posted detour routes:
- Eastbound Viking Drive/W. 78th Street: Viking Drive/W. 78th Street to northbound Golden Triangle Drive to eastbound 76th Street to southbound Washington Avenue
- Westbound Viking Drive/W. 78th Street: Viking Drive/W. 78th Street to northbound Washington Avenue to westbound 76th Street to southbound Golden Triangle Drive
The roadway will re-open by 8 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 23.
