78th Street ramps scheduled to close Dec. 9
ROSEVILLE, Minn. – Motorists will encounter a detour and increased congestion on metro area roadways when the ramps from eastbound and westbound West 78th Street to Hwy 169 close Thursday, Dec. 9. Part of the Hwy 169/I-494 interchange reconstruction project, the closure is necessary as crews begin preliminary work.
During the closure, motorists should follow the posted detour routes:
West 78th Street (North of I-494): continue northbound on West 78th Street to Valley View Road
West 78th Street (South of I-494): Town Line Avenue to Hwy 169
The ramps will remain closed for approximately one year and then will re-open on newly constructed frontage roads.
