Bike and pedestrian detour in Downtown Hastings begins Monday
ROSEVILLE, Minn. – Beginning Monday, December 6, pedestrians and cyclists on the city trail through downtown Hastings will encounter a detour between Ramsey Street and Lock and Dam Road.
The trail detours to Second Street between Ramsey St. and Lock and Dam Road, around what is commonly referred to as the Hudson Building area. The detour is necessary as crews conduct partial building demolition and continue pier work for the southern approach of the new Hastings Bridge.
The detour will remain in place until further notice.
As is expected for the entire project, two-way traffic will remain open on the bridge and access to local businesses and residences should not be affected.
