Overnight lane closures planned this week on I-35E in Lino Lakes
Crews to place eastbound Anoka County Road 14 bridge beams
Location:
- Northbound and southbound Interstate 35E at Anoka County Road 14 in Lino Lakes.
Schedule:
- Northbound I-35E will be restricted to a single lane at Anoka County 14 beginning at 7 p.m. Monday, Nov. 15 until 5 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 16. Motorists may also encounter short-term full closures of the interstate for up to 15 minutes.
- Southbound I-35E will be restricted to a single lane with occasional 15 minute full closures Tuesday and Wednesday, Nov. 16 and 17 between 7 p.m. each night and 5 a.m. the following day.
- Motorists may encounter congestion and delays during the overnight work and are advised to use alternate routes if possible to avoid delays.
Project information:
- Construction crews will set beams for the new southern, westbound Anoka County Road 14 (Main Street) bridge spanning I-35E in Lino Lakes.
- The new bridge, interchange and three signal systems are being constructed by Anoka County.
- All work is expected to be complete by June of 2011.
