UPDATE: Highway 36 weekend closure cancelled
ROSEVILLE, Minn. – Demolition of the Rice Street bridge spanning Highway 36 in Roseville, originally scheduled for the weekend of Nov. 12-14, has been cancelled due to rain and snow forecasted.
Highway 36 will not close this weekend. The closure is tentatively rescheduled for the weekend of Nov. 19-22.
The project, which began in early July, includes replacement of the Rice Street bridge and the reconstruction of Rice Street. Side street reconstruction between County Road B-2 and County Road B also are part of the project.
The entire project remains on schedule to be completed by November 2011.
