Eastbound I-394/Xenia Avenue ramp project begins Oct. 11
Ramp will be closed for approximately three weeks
ROSEVILLE, Minn. – Motorists will experience delays in the west Twin Cities Metro area as a project on the ramp from eastbound I-394 to Xenia Avenue begins Monday, Oct. 11.
The ramp will close on the evening of Oct. 13 for approximately three weeks as crews conduct lighting, drainage and repaving work. Motorists traveling eastbound on I-394 will be directed to exit at Louisiana Avenue and then use Laurel Avenue in order to access Xenia Avenue. Access from eastbound I-394 to Hwy 100 will remain available. In addition, intermittent overnight lane closures on I-394 will occur as needed for overhead sign replacement.
The purpose of the project is to separate the exits from eastbound I-394 to Hwy 100 and Xenia Avenue and reduce congestion as part of the Congestion Management and Safety Plan. For more information, visit http://www.dot.state.mn.us/metro/projects/cmsp/index.html.
The entire project is expected to be completed by mid-November.
