FLOODING UPDATE
Hwy 41 Minnesota River Crossing in Chaska to open at noon

ROSEVILLE, Minn. –The Minnesota Department of Transportation will open the Hwy 41 Minnesota River crossing between Demcom Drive and First Street in Chaska at noon Thursday, Oct. 7.

In order to expedite opening the roadway, crews were able to patch the pavement and make initial repairs. Additional safety devices have been placed along the roadway until non-critical, off-roadway repairs can be made later, after backwater from the Minnesota River fully recedes from the roadway’s slope.

Mn/DOT reminds motorists to proceed with caution, slow down in work zones and never enter a roadway that has been blocked with barriers or cones.

Hwy 41 was closed at 2 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 27 due to high and rising water from the Minnesota River.

Highway 101 update
The Hwy 101 Minnesota River crossing between Scott County Road 69 in Shakopee and Carver County Road 61 in Chanhassen will remain closed until further notice. The roadway remains below water.
