FLOODING UPDATE
Northbound I-35W, eastbound Highway 101 reduced to one lane Oct. 6-7
Lane closures needed as crews remove temporary flood protection
Roseville, Minn. — The Minnesota Department of Transportation will close the right two lanes of northbound I-35W between Cliff Road and Black Dog Road in Burnsville overnight on Wednesday, Oct. 6.
The closures will begin at 9 p.m. Wednesday, and all lanes of traffic will be reopened at 4 a.m. Thursday.
The closures are necessary as crews remove the temporary dike placed along the east side of northbound I-35W on Sept. 28 and Sept. 29.
In addition, eastbound Highway 101 between Highway 169 and Highway 13 in Savage will be reduced to a single lane between 9 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 6 and 4 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 7 as crews remove a protective barrier placed along the roadway on Sept. 30.
