Westbound Highway 62 to close Oct. 29 – Nov. 1
Interstate 35W lane and ramp closures also scheduled
ROSEVILLE, Minn. — Motorists will encounter a detour and increased congestion on metro area roadways when westbound Highway 62 closes at I-35W through the Crosstown Commons at 10 p.m. Friday, Oct. 29.
In addition, motorists on southbound Interstate 35W will encounter intermittent lane closures between Diamond Lake Road and 66th Street beginning at 10 p.m., Friday, Oct. 29. The southbound I-35W ramps to both directions of Highway 62 will also close intermittently throughout the weekend.

will reopen by 5 a.m. Monday, Nov. 1.
As part of the Crosstown reconstruction project, the closure is necessary as crews reroute I-35W motorists to permanent lanes.
During the closure, westbound Highway 62 motorists will be detoured to southbound Highway 77/Cedar Avenue to Interstate 494 to northbound Highway 100.
This weekend’s closures mark the final weekend of major closures on the 35W/Crosstown project. After this weekend the MnPASS express lanes will remain closed but will open on November 19.
