Hwy 5 lane and ramp closures take place overnight Oct. 20
ROSEVILLE, Minn. – Motorists will experience delays in both directions of Hwy 5 between Post Road and the Mississippi River as crews continue striping the roadway overnight Wednesday, Oct. 20.
Lane closures on eastbound and westbound Highway 5 will begin at 8 p.m. At 10 p.m., the ramp from Glumack Drive/Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport Terminal 1 to eastbound Hwy 5 will close. Motorists will be detoured to westbound Highway 5 and then Post Road in order to access eastbound Highway 5.
All ramps and lanes will reopen by 5 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 21.
The closures are part of the Hwy 5 resurfacing project between Post Road and the Mississippi River. The entire project is expected to be completed this week.
