Southbound Interstate 35W to close overnight Oct. 15
Crews to gather samples to study deicing chemicals’ effect on concrete
Roseville, Minn. — Motorists will encounter a detour and increased congestion on metro area roadways when southbound Interstate 35W closes at 10 p.m. Friday, Oct. 15 through the Crosstown Commons Area.
Southbound I-35W will re-open by 5 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 16.
Part of the Crosstown Reconstruction project, the closure is necessary for crews to install permanent roadway markings.
During the closure, motorists will be detoured to eastbound Highway 62 to southbound Highway 77/Cedar Avenue to westbound I-494.
