FLOODING UPDATE
Hwy 101 Minnesota River Crossing to open at noon

Initial repairs made, crews to complete work over next two weeks

ROSEVILLE, Minn. —The Minnesota Department of Transportation will open the Hwy 101 Minnesota River crossing between Scott County Road 69 in Shakopee and Carver County Road 61 in Chanhassen in time for afternoon rush hour Tuesday, Oct. 12.
To expedite opening the road for commuter traffic, crews were able to patch the pavement and complete initial repairs. Crews will return to complete off-roadway repairs later.

As a result, motorists may encounter delays as the roadway is intermittently reduced to a single lane with flaggers directing traffic between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. on weekdays beginning Wednesday Oct. 13.

The road was closed on Sept. 27 due to high and rising water from the Minnesota River.

Mn/DOT reminds motorists to proceed with caution, slow down in work zones and never enter a roadway that has been blocked with barriers or cones.
