Westbound Highway 62 to close Oct. 15-18
ROSEVILLE, Minn. — Motorists will encounter a detour and increased congestion on metro area roadways when westbound Highway 62 closes between Highway 77/Cedar Avenue and Penn Avenue at 10 p.m. Friday, Oct. 15.
Westbound Highway 62 will reopen by 5 a.m. Monday, Oct. 18.
As part of the Crosstown reconstruction project, the closure is necessary as crews continue reconstructing Highway 62 and route motorists to permanent lanes between Lyndale Avenue and Penn Avenue.
During the closure, motorists will be detoured to southbound Highway 77/Cedar Avenue to Interstate 494 to northbound Highway 100.
