Lyndale Avenue between 61st Street and Highway 62 to close Oct. 5
ROSEVILLE, Minn. — Motorists will encounter delays on metro area roadways when Lyndale Avenue, between 61st Street and Highway 62, closes at 9 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 5.
I-35W and Highway 62 will remain open during the Lyndale Avenue closure. The ramps at Lyndale Avenue will also remain open during the closure. Motorists will not be able to access northbound Lyndale Avenue from the westbound Highway 62 ramp to Lyndale Avenue.
Lyndale Avenue will reopen by 3 p.m. Oct. 5.
As part of the Crosstown reconstruction project, the closure is needed as crews pave Lyndale Avenue at Highway 62.
Motorists should follow the posted detours routes:
Lyndale Avenue South: West 61st Street to Nicollet Avenue to West 66th Street
Lyndale Avenue North: West 66th Street to Nicollet Avenue to West 61st Street
