FLOODING UPDATE Eastbound Scott County Road 101 reduced to one lane Sept. 30

Lane closures needed as crews construct temporary dike to protect traffic

Roseville, Minn. — The Minnesota Department of Transportation will reduce eastbound Scott County Road 101 to a single lane between approximately Highway 169 and Highway 13 in Savage beginning at 9 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 30.

All lanes of Scott County 101 will be re-opened by 5 a.m. Friday, Oct. 1.

The closures are necessary as crews construct temporary dikes along the inside and outside shoulders of eastbound Scott County 101 near the Highway 13 intersection in Savage. The temporary dikes are being built as a precautionary measure to help keep the roadway open in the event that rising water from the backwater of the Minnesota River rises above the lowest point of the pavement.
