UPDATE: Oct. 1 and Oct. 4 westbound Highway 62 overnight closures cancelled
ROSEVILLE, Minn. — The Friday, Oct. 1 and Monday, Oct. 4 overnight closures of westbound Highway 62, between Interstate 35W and Highway 77/Cedar Avenue have been cancelled.
However, beginning at 10 p.m. Monday, Oct. 4, there will be lane closures on westbound Highway 62 at Portland Avenue. Motorists will be able to access northbound I-35W from westbound Highway 62 during the lane closures. All lanes of westbound Highway 62 will reopen by 5 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 5.
The closures of eastbound Highway 62 on Thursday, Sept. 30 and Tuesday, Oct. 5 will occur as scheduled from 10 p.m. until 5 a.m. the next day. Motorists will be detoured using southbound I-35W, eastbound I-494 and northbound Highway 77/Cedar Avenue.
In addition, as part of the Crosstown Reconstruction Project, eastbound Highway 62 will close between Highway 100 and Highway 77/Cedar Ave. at 10 p.m. Friday, Oct. 1. Eastbound Highway 62 will reopen by 5 a.m. Monday, Oct. 4.
