Eastbound Highway 62 to close Oct. 1-4
Motorists rerouted to permanent lanes
ROSEVILLE, Minn. — Motorists will encounter a detour and increased congestion on metro area roadways when Highway 62 closes between Highway 100 and Portland Ave. at 10 p.m. Friday, Oct. 1.
Eastbound Highway 62 will reopen by 5 a.m. Monday, Oct. 4.
Part of the Crosstown reconstruction project, the closure is necessary as crews continue with the reconstruction of Highway 62 and reroute motorists to permanent lanes at Portland Ave.
Motorists should follow the posted detours during the closure:
Southbound Highway 100 to eastbound Interstate 494 to northbound Highway 77/Cedar Avenue
