UPDATE:Hwy 62 overnight closures to begin Sept. 30
ROSEVILLE, Minn. — Motorists will encounter delays and a detour when overnight closures of Highway 62 between Interstate 35W and Highway 77/Cedar Avenue take place overnight beginning Sept. 30.
Eastbound Highway 62 will close beginning at 10 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 30 and Tuesday, Oct. 5. Motorists will be detoured using southbound I-35W, eastbound I-494 and northbound Highway 77/Cedar Avenue.
Westbound Highway 62 will close beginning at 10 p.m. Friday, Oct. 1 and Monday, Oct. 4. Motorists will be detoured using southbound Highway 77/Cedar Avenue, westbound I-494 and northbound I-35W.
Highway 62 will re-open by 5 a.m. each day following the closures. The closures are necessary as crews continue work on the Portland Avenue Bridge spanning Highway 62.
