Highway 5/ Highway 55 roadway and ramp closures occur overnight Sept. 28
ROSEVILLE, Minn. – Motorists will experience delays as roadway and ramp closures occur between Post Road and the Highway 5/Highway 55 interchange overnight Tuesday, Sept. 28.
The left lane of westbound Highway 5 will close beginning at 6:30 p.m. for resurfacing. The left lane of the ramp from eastbound Highway 5 to westbound Highway 55 will also close during the evening.
The following ramps and loop will also close for a portion of the night:
- The ramp from Glumack Drive/Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport Terminal 1 to westbound Highway 5. Detour: Eastbound Highway 5 to westbound Highway 55 to Minnehaha Avenue to eastbound Highway 55 and then to westbound Highway 5
- The ramp from westbound Highway 5 to westbound Highway 55. Detour: Continue on westbound Highway 5 to Post Road, to eastbound Highway 5 and then to westbound Highway 55
- The loop from eastbound Highway 55 to eastbound Highway 5. Detour: Westbound Highway 5 to Post Road to eastbound Highway 5
- The ramp from westbound Highway 55 to eastbound Highway 5. Detour: Continue westbound on Highway 55 to Minnehaha Avenue, to eastbound Highway 55 to westbound Highway 5 to Post Road and then to eastbound Highway 5
All ramps and lanes will reopen by 5 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 29.
The closures are part of the Highway 5 resurfacing project between the Mississippi River and Post Road.
