FLOODING UPDATE: Hwy 25 in Belle Plaine may close overnight
Crews continue to monitor high and rising water from Minnesota River
Mn/DOT may have to close Highway 25 between Carver County Road 40 and East Forest Street in Belle Plaine on Wednesday, Sept. 29.
The site is being visually monitored by Mn/DOT maintenance staff, with water levels measured every hour. While the road has not previously closed at this location due to high water, the currently forecasted flood crest for the Minnesota River exceeds levels since Mn/DOT began keeping records for the site.
