FLOODING UPDATE: Hwy 41 scheduled to close prior to rush hour
Rate of rising water causes pre rush-hour closure
Roseville, Minn. — The Minnesota Department of Transportation urges motorists to plan their travels in advance as flooding continues to affect Metro area highways. All roadways will remain closed until further notice.
Road closures
- New - Hwy 41 between Demcom Drive and First Street in Chaska is scheduled to close at 2 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 27, due to high and rising water from the Minnesota River.
- Hwy 101 is now closed between Scott County Road 69 in Shakopee and Carver County Road 61 in Chanhassen. The road is closed due to high and rising water from the Minnesota River.
Ramp/lane closures
- The right lane of northbound I-35W is closed through approximately 3 p.m. Monday, Sept. 27, as crews build a protective ditch stop.
Re-opened
- All road, lane and ramps will be re-opened after any necessary road repairs are complete and the roadway is safe to carry traffic.
