Northbound I-35W closing May 7-10
ROSEVILLE, Minn. — Motorists will encounter detours and increased congestion on metro area roadways when northbound Interstate 35W closes between Highway 62 and Interstate 94 at 10 p.m. Friday, May 7.
The closure is necessary as crews continue the removal of temporary bridges spanning northbound
I-35W and for storm sewer installation beneath northbound I-35W.
While eastbound and westbound Highway 62 will remain open during the weekend closure, no access to northbound I-35W will be available from either direction
Northbound I-35W will re-open by 5 a.m. on Monday, May 10.
Motorists should follow the posted detour during the weekend closure:
Westbound Highway 62 to northbound Highway 100 to eastbound I-394.
Southbound I-35W will remain open during the weekend closures.
