Portland Avenue ramp to close May 13 - Postponed
ROSEVILLE, Minn. –Motorists will encounter detours and increased congestion on metro area roadways when the ramp from Portland Avenue to westbound Hwy 62 closes at 10 p.m. on Thursday, May 13.
The ramp will remain closed until August 2010.
Part of the I-35W/Hwy 62 Crosstown Reconstruction project, the closure is needed as crews continue the reconstruction of westbound Hwy 62.
The Portland Avenue Bridge will remain open during the closure. The eastbound Hwy 62 ramp also will remain but will remain closed for motorists connecting from southbound Interstate 35W to eastbound Hwy 62. Motorists should follow the posted detour route.
