Lyndale Avenue between 61st Street and 63rd Street to close April 30
ROSEVILLE, Minn. — Motorists will encounter detours on metro area roadways when Lyndale Avenue, between 61st Street and 63rd Street, closes at 4 a.m. Friday, April 30.
I-35W and Highway 62 will remain open during the Lyndale Avenue closure. The ramps at Lyndale Avenue will also remain open during the closure.
Lyndale Avenue will open by 3 p.m. the same day of the closure.
Part of the Crosstown reconstruction project, the closure is needed as crews conduct deck work on the Highway 62 bridges spanning Lyndale Avenue.
Motorists should follow the posted detours routes:
Lyndale Avenue South: West 61st Street to Nicollet Avenue to West 66th Street
Lyndale Avenue North: West 66th Street to Nicollet Avenue to West 61st Street
