Westbound Hwy 62 lane restrictions begin March 9
ROSEVILLE, Minn. — Motorists may encounter delays on metro area roadways when the left lane of westbound Highway 62 closes daily at 9 a.m. at the western junction of Interstate 35W on Tuesday, March 9 through Friday, March 12.
The left lane of Highway 62 will open by 3 p.m. each day of the closures.
The Highway 121 “loop” ramp to westbound Highway 62 and the ramp from westbound Highway 62 to southbound I-35W will remain open during the closures.
Part of the I-35W/Highway 62 Crosstown reconstruction project, the lane reduction is needed as crews continue sheet piling work along westbound Highway 62. The work is being done during the daytime hours, rather than at night, to limit nighttime noise activity.
