Lyndale Avenue between 61st Street and 63rd Street closing March 4 and 5
ROSEVILLE, Minn. — Motorists will encounter detours on metro area roadways when Lyndale Avenue, between 61st Street and 63rd Street, closes at 6 a.m. Thursday, March 4 and Friday, March 5.
I-35W and Highway 62 will remain open during the Lyndale Avenue closure.
Lyndale Avenue will open by 3 p.m. each day of the closure.
Part of the Crosstown reconstruction project, the closure is needed as crews set bridge beams
for the Hwy 62 bridge spanning Lyndale Avenue.
Motorists should follow the posted detours routes:
Lyndale Avenue South: West 61st Street to Nicollet Avenue to West 66th Street
Lyndale Avenue North: West 66th Street to Nicollet Avenue to West 61st Street
