Diamond Lake Road ramp to close March 29
Motorists will encounter detours and increased congestion on metro area roadways when the ramp from Diamond Lake Road to northbound Interstate 35W closes at 5 a.m. on Monday, March 29.
The ramp will remain closed for approximately eight weeks.
The ramp closure is needed as crews continue reconstruction of northbound I-35W and for area storm sewer installation.
All other freeway ramps at Diamond Lake Road and the Diamond Lake Road Bridge itself will remain open.
Motorists should follow the posted detour route, which includes using the 46th Street ramp.
