Southbound Interstate 35W closed Jan. 15-18
ROSEVILLE, Minn. — Motorists will encounter detours and increased congestion on metro area roadways at 10 p.m. Friday, Jan. 15 when the southbound lanes of Interstate 35W close at the western junction of Highway 62.
The roadway will re-open by 5 a.m. Monday, Jan. 18.
Northbound I-35W and Highway 62 will remain open during the closures.
Part of the I-35W/Highway 62 Crosstown reconstruction project, the closure is needed as crews set bridge beams on the eastbound Highway 62 bridge spanning southbound I-35W.
Motorists should follow the posted detours during the closures:
Highway 62 west to Highway 100 South – Highway 100 South to Highway 62 East – Highway 62 East to I-35W South
