Minnehaha Parkway and creek to close through March 2010
Motorists will continue to encounter detours on Minnehaha Parkway at Interstate 35W as the roadway remains closed through March 2010 as crews reconstruct the northbound I-35W bridge spanning Minnehaha Parkway.
At least one pedestrian or bike path along Minnehaha Creek at I-35W will remain open; however, the path may be intermittently closed in order for crews to safely conduct work.
Motorists should follow the posted detour route.
During the closures, access across I-35W will be available at the 42nd Street bridge, 46th Street bridge, 50th Street bridge, Diamond Lake Road bridge, and the 60th Street underpass.
The bridge re-construction will not affect traffic on I-35W.
