Nicollet Avenue at Interstate 35W to close Nov. 30 – Dec. 4
ROSEVILLE, Minn. - Motorists will encounter detours on metro area roadways when Nicollet Avenue beneath Interstate 35W/Highway 62 closes at 6 a.m. Monday, Nov. 30. Nicollet Avenue will re-open by 6 a.m. Friday, Dec. 4.
I-35W and Highway 62 will remain open during the closure.
Part of the Crosstown reconstruction project, the closure is needed for bridge demolition of the old I-35W/Highway 62 bridges above Nicollet Avenue and for area storm sewer installation.
Motorists should follow the posted detours routes:
Nicollet Avenue South: West 61st Street to Lyndale Avenue to West 66th Street
Nicollet Avenue North: West 66th Street to Lyndale Avenue to West 61st Street
