Construction on new Highway 610 off to a rainy start
(Roseville, Minn.) - Despite the recent rainy weather, construction activities for the new Highway 610 extension between Highway 169 and Hennepin County Road 81 are underway this week. Preliminary construction activity includes tree and dirt removal along with erosion control measures. Construction of noisewalls along the corridor is expected to start in mid-November.
The project to build 2.74 miles of four-lane highway from Highway 169 in Brooklyn Park to County Road 81 in Maple Grove is scheduled to be completed in July 2011. A complete project schedule is available on the project Web site.
