Lyndale Avenue between 61st Street and 63rd Street to close Oct. 19-22
ROSEVILLE, Minn. - Motorists will encounter detours on metro area roadways when Lyndale Avenue, between 61st Street and 63rd Street, closes at 10 p.m. Oct. 19.
I-35W and Highway 62 will remain open during the Lyndale Avenue closure.
Weather permitting, Lyndale Avenue will re-open by 5 a.m. Oct 22.
Part of the Crosstown reconstruction project, the closure is needed for demolition of the Highway 62 bridge over Lyndale Avenue.
Motorists should follow the posted detours routes:
Lyndale Avenue South: West 61st Street to Nicollet Avenue to West 66th Street
Lyndale Avenue North: West 66th Street to Nicollet Avenue to West 61st Street
