Southbound I-35W closing at western junction of Highway 62 on Oct. 2-3
ROSEVILLE, Minn. — Motorists will encounter detours and increased congestion on metro area roadways starting at 10 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 2 when the southbound lanes of Interstate 35W close at the western junction of Highway 62 through 5 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 3. Northbound I-35W and Highway 62 will remain open during the closures.
Part of the I-35W/Highway 62 Crosstown reconstruction project, the closure is needed for the demolition of the Highway 62 eastbound bridge over southbound I-35W.
Motorists should follow the posted detours during the closures:
Highway 62 west to Highway 100 South – Highway 100 South to Highway 62 East – Highway 62 East to I-35W South
