Rainfall will delay the reopening of northbound I-35W ramp to westbound Highway 62/58th Street
ROSEVILLE, Minn. — Due to heavy rainfall this weekend the ramp from northbound Interstate 35W to westbound Highway 62/58th Street will not reopen at 5 a.m. Monday, August 10 as initially scheduled.
Instead, the ramp will reopen by 5 a.m. Wednesday, August 12.
During the closure motorists will not be able to access westbound Highway 62 from southbound Highway 121/Lyndale Ave.; however, motorists will be able to access southbound I-35W from southbound Highway 121/Lyndale Ave.
Part of the I-35W/Highway 62 Crosstown reconstruction project, the closure is needed for additional drainage work to be completed before beginning the concrete paving of the Highway 121 loop to westbound Highway 62.
Motorists should follow the posted detour routes: Exit I-35W at 66th Street; west to Penn Avenue; north to Highway 62 West
