Hwy 610 groundbreaking celebration set for Sept. 3 in Maple Grove
WHAT: Groundbreaking ceremony for Highway 610 construction. The project begins in September and will extend Highway 610 by approximately three miles, between Highway 169 in Brooklyn Park and Hennepin County Road 81 in Maple Grove.
WHEN: 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 3, 2009
WHERE: Zachary Lane Transit Station, 11312 96th Avenue North, Maple Grove
WHO: Local, state and federal dignitaries will gather to break ground for the start of construction on the next phase of Highway 610 between Highway 169 and Hennepin County Road 81.
Recommended directions: From Interstate 694 go north on Hemlock Lane/County Road 61 approximately three miles, then turn left on 96th Avenue North. Look for the Park and Ride signs.
