Lyndale Avenue between 61st street and 63rd street to close on Aug. 27
ROSEVILLE, Minn. - Motorists will encounter detours on Lyndale Ave. in Minneapolis between 61st Street and 63rd Street when the roadway closes at 9 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 27.
The roadway will re-open at 3 p.m. Aug. 27. The closure is needed for bridge work above Lyndale Avenue and is part of the I-35W/Crosstown reconstruction project.
I-35W and Highway 62 will remain open during the closure.
Motorists should follow the posted detours route:
- Lyndale Ave. South: West 61st Street to Nicollet Ave. to West 66th Street
- Lyndale Ave. North: West 66th Street to Nicollet Ave. to West 61st Street
