Ramp from westbound Highway 62 to Penn Avenue to close on July 13
ROSEVILLE, Minn. — Motorists will encounter detours and increased congestion on metro area roadways starting at 10 p.m. on Monday, July 13 when the exit ramp from westbound Highway 62 to Penn Avenue closes.
The ramp closure is needed to continue freeway work in the area as part of the Interstate 35W/Highway 62 Crosstown reconstruction project. The ramp is scheduled to re-open in summer 2010.
Motorists should follow the posted detours during the closure: Exit at Xerxes Ave – South on Xerxes to Highway 62 East – Highway 62 East to Penn Ave.
During this same time period, the Penn Avenue entrance ramp to eastbound Highway 62 and the I-35W exit ramp from Highway 62 are scheduled to re-open.
