46th Street Bridge in South Minneapolis reopens July 31
ROSEVILLE, Minn. — Motorists will once again be able to cross Interstate 35W at 46th Street when the 46th Street Bridge reopens, on Friday, July 31.
The 46th Street Bridge has been closed since April 25, 2008, as it underwent reconstruction in order to accommodate the expansion of I-35W as part of the I-35W/Highway 62 Crosstown reconstruction project.
In addition to the bridge, the northbound I-35W exit ramp to 46th Street also will reopen on July 31. The 46th Street entrance ramp to northbound I-35W is currently open. However, the exit and entrance ramps along southbound I-35W remain closed and are scheduled to reopen this fall.
