Eastbound I-94 to close in Minneapolis June 5-8
ROSEVILLE, Minn. — All lanes of eastbound I-94 between I-35W and Riverside Ave. in Minneapolis will close from 10 p.m. Friday, June 5 through 5 a.m. Monday, June 8 as crews prep and paint four bridges. Westbound lanes will remain open.
Motorists will be detoured from eastbound I-94 to northbound I-35W to eastbound Hwy 36 to southbound I-35E.
The ramp from eastbound I-94 to southbound Hwy 55 will remain open.
Eastbound I-94 will be accessible to motorists from Cretin Ave./Vandalia Street and all access points east of Cretin Avenue/Vandalia Street.
In addition, Cedar Ave. will be reduced to one lane in each direction between 9 a.m. Friday, June 5 and 5 a.m. Monday, June 15.
This project is weather-dependent and may need to be rescheduled in the event of inclement weather.
