Intermittent Weeknight Closures of Northbound I-35W begin May 26
ROSEVILLE, Minn. —The northbound lanes of Interstate 35W, from 60th Street to
Hwy 62, will close intermittently Monday through Friday evenings from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. beginning Tuesday, May 26 and continuing through Friday, June 12. Motorists will be able to access northbound I-35W from 60th Street during the closures.
The work is part of the I-35W/Hwy 62 Crosstown reconstruction project, and the nighttime closures are needed to place bridge segments at the eastern junction of I-35W and Hwy 62.
The southbound lanes of I-35W will remain open during the nightly closures, but will be reduced to a single lane of traffic. All lanes of Hwy 62 will remain open during the
nightly closures.
Motorists should follow the posted detours during the closures:
For northbound I-35W – Hwy 62 east, to Hwy 77/Cedar Ave, to Hwy 62 west,
to I-35W north.
