ROSEVILLE, Minn. -- The newly completed third lane of southbound Highway 252 in the city of Brooklyn Park opened to traffic following rush hour on Wednesday afternoon, Sept. 5. The new left lane increased the number of lanes to three lanes between 73rd Avenue and Brookdale Drive to help ease congestion and improve traffic flow. The project also included reconstruction of the median and left shoulder of the northbound roadway to change it from a depressed median to a raised median with curb and gutter.
