(Roseville, Minn.) - Minnehaha Parkway at I-35W in Minneapolis will be closed temporarily at designated times beginning Wednesday, July 18, 2007 through the end of August 2007, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation. The Minnehaha Parkway closures are needed to accommodate work on the I-35W bridge over Minnehaha Parkway, which is part of the I-35W/Hwy 62 Crosstown Reconstruction project.
Signs will be posted prior to the closures. During the closures, at least one pedestrian and bike path along Minnehaha Creek will remain open.
Weather permitting; Minnehaha Parkway will be closed as follows:
Wednesday, July 18, 2007 from 9 am to 3 pm
Thursday, July 19, 2007 from 9 am to 3 pm
Two days during the week of July 23, 2007 from 9 am to 3 pm, and
Beginning Monday, August 6, 2007, Minnehaha Parkway will be closed all day and evening for approximately three weeks.
