(Roseville, Minn.) - A short segment of eastbound Interstate 694 at the west end of the I-35E/I-694 commons in Little Canada and Vadnais Heights will be closed this weekend from 10 p.m. Friday, June 8 through 5 a.m. Monday, June 10.  During the closure, crews will demolish the final section of the old bridge carrying westbound traffic out of the Interstate 35E/694 commons to southbound I-35E.  The bridge is located over the eastbound lanes of I-694.

While the interstate beneath the bridge is closed, traffic traveling east toward the commons from the Rice Street area will detour south on I-35E to Highway 36 and back north on I-35E to continue east on I-694.
