Workzone at night
Full weekend closure of I-35W from I-94 to Crosstown Commons begins June 1 at 10 p.m.

 

(Roseville, Minn.) - As part of the I-35W/Hwy 62 Crosstown Commons Reconstruction project, Diamond Lake Bridge will be demolished and reconstructed.  Other work includes the demolition of the pedestrian bridge and storm sewer work.  To safely remove the bridge, I-35W will be closed from Friday, June 1 from 10 p.m. until Monday, June 4, at 5 a.m.  I-35W will be closed from I-94 to Crosstown.  

Both directions of 1-35W will be closed and motorists should follow the posted detours during the closure.  Heavy, sustained wind or rain could postpone the closure.

The Minnesota State Patrol will be using extraordinary enforcement to ensure that motorists stay out of closed areas.
