Workzone at night
Revised: I-494 bridge reconstruction begins August 14

Roseville, Minn.— The Minnesota Department of Transportation (Mn/DOT) will begin a reconstruction project on the I-494 bridge over the Minnesota River, between Bloomington and Eagan on August 14.

Work on the bridge will include the installation of new joints, repair of delaminated bridge decking, patching and repaving. The project is scheduled to be completed in late October.

A bypass will be constructed to maintain continuous, two lane capacity in each direction until the project is completed.

The Minnesota Department of Transportation reminds motorists to SLOW DOWN in work zones and NEVER enter a roadway that has been blocked with barriers or cones. Please join us in a safety partnership.
